Now text a download link directly to your phone

 

Today we’re releasing a small, but important and extremely useful (and oft requested) feature. Previously, if you clicked the Download button for an iPhone or mobile web app, you’d be taken to iTunes or the actual mobile web app. This works well when your phone is plugged in and able to sync.

Oftentimes, though, you’re not at a computer where you can sync your apps easily. In this case, maybe you just want to install the app over-the-air directly from your phone. For that, we present to you the new “text me a download link” feature.

Below every Download button you’ll see a link to get the buy URL texted directly to your phone. Just click the link, enter your phone number, and voila: instant download link directly to your phone.
